Ohio breaks ground on the first of its kind new mental health facility in the region that offers 24/7 crisis assessments

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — Ground was broken on Wednesday for a new behavioral health urgent care and crisis stabilization unit in St. Clairsville.

It will be the first of its kind to serve Belmont, Harrison, and Monroe counties.

It’s part of a 90-million dollar push by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to strengthen the state’s mental health services.
