Southern West Virginia Community College Partners with Marshall University for Seamless Bachelor’s Degree Pathway

Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College has teamed up with Marshall University to provide students a streamlined pathway to earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree. This partnership allows Southern students to seamlessly transfer their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree credits to Marshall, making it easier for them to continue their education.

The agreement, signed at Southern’s Logan campus, enables students to transfer up to 72 credit hours from Southern to Marshall. With the general education requirements already met through the AAS degree, students can focus on completing the BAS degree either in-person, online, or through a hybrid model…
