‘I’m Ready!’ Steelers’ McCormick To Start at Right Guard

The Pittsburgh Steelers planned to start two rookie offensive lineman after taking right tackle Troy Fautanu and center Zach Frazier with their first two picks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The NFL works in funny – and sometimes unfortunate – ways. Pittsburgh will indeed start two rookie linemen when they host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football for Week 5’s festivities. But they’ll be doing so without Fautanu, who is likely to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Instead, it will be rookie Mason McCormick starting at right guard in James Daniels’ place.
