FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) – With so many people in our area wanting to help those suffering from disaster in the wake of Hurricane Helene, there are some groups in Baldwin County who are making it easier to do so. Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) has set up several convenient drop points along the eastern shore in Fairhope.
Brooke Hollingsworth and friend, Madison Richey are like so many others in our area. They’ve been affected by disaster themselves and want to give back. Now that an organized effort is underway on the eastern shore, they have a way to do just that.
