Texas Trails no longer a snow route

Moorcroft’s governing body has been considering removing the Texas Trails Subdivision from the municipal snow route due to the continued parking issues with residents and has now decided to do so.

Last week, the town allowed guests from the subdivision to speak to the matter at a public hearing within the regular meeting of the council.

Jerry Fishbach addressed the council regarding the situation, stating that an emergency snow route within the development “is absolutely ridiculous”. He expressed his opinion about residents being penalized for parking their vehicles at the curb five months of the year (November 1-April 1), 12 hours a day, as a “burden”…
