PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — Acting superintendent Yolonda Brown provided updates to her 100-day plan at Wednesday night’s school board meeting.
Brown first introduced the plan titled “A New Era of Visible Learning, Accountability and Care for All,” at the board meeting on July 17.
To help facilitate her transition into the division and begin executing her vision, she outlined her goals into five priority areas as a guide:
- Priority 1: Engage our Stakeholders and Build Relationships and Trust
- Priority 2: Recommit to Teaching, Learning, and Performance
- Priority 3: Assess District Leadership Capacity
- Priority 4: Evaluate District Finances, Operations, and Facilities
- Priority 5: Analyze Student and Staff Safety and Well-being
