Brandon man accused of threatening prosecutor

RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Rankin County deputies arrested a man accused of threatening a prosecutor.

Investigators said they were made aware of a threat of violence on Tuesday, October 1. They said the threat was made against a prosecutor by former defendant Justin Allen Fowler, 31, of Brandon.

On Wednesday, October 2, investigators with the sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at a home within the City of Brandon in an unsuccessful attempt to apprehend Fowler.

Believing that Flower had fled before law enforcement arrived at the home, deputies said they began circulating the area in and around the City of Brandon. Fowler’s vehicle was located on North Street near the Rankin County Justice Court. After a search of the area, Fowler was arrested without incident…
