Hartford Public Library will reopen Downtown Library on Nov. 20

HARTFORD, Conn. — Harford Public Library announced on Thursday that it will reopen the Downtown Library to patrons on Nov. 20.

A brief ribbon cutting ceremony and speaking program will be held at the building at 500 Main St. at 11 a.m. that morning featuring state Rep. Matt Ritter (D-1st District), Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam and HPL President & CEO Bridget E. Quinn, who will cut the ribbon.

Immediately after the ceremony, the building’s doors will open to the public…
