Suspect arrested following chase, robbery at Lawrence Chick-fil-A

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 26-year-old Sapulpa, Oklahoma man is in custody following a “strong-armed” robbery at a Chick-fil-A in Lawrence, Kansas on Friday.

Just after 12 p.m., Lawrence police officers reported the suspect was in a silver Dodge Caravan and was headed south from Lawrence following a “strong-armed robbery at the Chick-fil-A on Iowa Street.

Douglas County deputies stopped the suspect at U.S. 59 Highway and N. 1000 Road. The suspect initially pulled over and then drove south, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
