LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A team of Southern Nevada firefighters and first responders were deployed east to help with Helene relief efforts last week.
The team – which includes the Clark County Fire Department, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, North Las Vegas Fire Department, Boulder City Fire Department, Henderson Fire Department, and private civilians – was activated by FEMA last Friday.
According to an update from Clark County Fire Department, the team arrived in Knoxville, Tenn. on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 2:30 a.m. They then traveled to Jonesborough to engage with local communities in need…
