LAWTON, Mich. (WOOD) — After several weeks of delays, M-40 in Lawton is reopening, the Michigan Department of Transportation said.
MDOT said that southbound M-40 as well as northbound M-40 and all cross streets north of 4th Street will be reopening Friday night. Work south of 4th Street will continue through Oct. 14.
“While there still will be some remaining work, including pavement markings and rumble strips, there will be limited impacts on traffic,” MDOT said in a release.
