Eagle survives the Storm

EAGLE — Scoring came at a high price as Eagle hosted Owyhee in a Friday night slugfest. The Mustangs prevailed with little offense needed, to escape with a 7-5 victory.

“It’s a rivalry that’s brewing and its only going to get better every year. We love close games, it really gives us a playoff feel,” Eagle head coach James Cluphf said of the high-intensity matchup that took place in Thunder Stadium against the Storm.

The Mustangs came running out the gate with their wheels churning on the first drive of the game. Junior quarterback Austin Ramsey led the charge on a run-heavy possession.
