Norma Gene Taylor was raised on a small, rural family farm in north Missouri nearly a century ago. Though she grew up during the Great Depression, she did not want because of the family’s persevering work on the farm, a wholesome upbringing and the grace of God. Her “country girl” perspective was reflected in her natural openness, willingness to work, sense of humor and pleasant ways. Paired with husband Ben, who had a similar sunny outlook, they were a “dynamic duo” who were well liked among many, many friends over the years. She did everything she had to do and much of what she wanted to do: portrait artist, businesswoman, mother, school mistress, international traveller, wife, friend, gourmet cook, lover of life and much, much more. She was preceded in death by her father Alvanza Millsap, mother Maude Millsap, sisters Leona, Lelah and Wanda and brother Max…..
