Tennessee football enjoyed a well-deserved bye week in Week 5 following a dominant top-15 victory over Oklahoma on Sept. 21.
The No. 4 Vols (4-1, 1-0 SEC) return to action in Week 6 with another SEC game, this time against Arkansas (3-2, 1-1 SEC) in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This marks the first matchup between the Vols and Razorbacks since the 2020 season, which Arkansas won 24-13 at home. The Razorbacks have won the last three matchups in the series, but Tennessee leads the all-time series 13-6.
