WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Susquehanna men’s soccer dropped their first Landmark Conference game on the road Saturday, taking the short hike to Lycoming where the Warriors claimed a 3-1 victory to add just the second loss to the River Hawks’ 2024 schedule through 11 matches at 6-2-3.
The River Hawks fell behind in the 11th minute on a penalty kick, with Christian Woobay putting Lycoming ahead. They showed fight immediately after conceding, with two chances to equalize within two minutes after going 1-0 down. They didn’t have to wait long until a chance turned into a goal, with Tom O’Keefe finding space on the right flank and finding a sliding Max Paczewski in the penalty area, who got just the touch O’Keefe’s cross needed to equalize.
The teams went into half-time deadlocked at a goal apiece, but Lycoming came out of the break with a goal on the hour mark from Kenny Clapp, then added a third in the 80th minute from Aidan Stillman to all but wrap up the conference win to move the Warriors to 1-0-1 in Landmark play and 9-1-2 overall…
