COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — Two people have been transported to a local hospital after a highway shooting in southeast Columbus on Sunday.
Authorities responded to the scene on Interstate 70 westbound near South Hamilton Road and Courtright Road at 12:17 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

A spokesperson for the police department said there was an exchange of gunfire along the highway. It is unclear what the victims’ roles were in that exchange, and there is currently no word on suspect information.
