Mt. Pleasant was the 3-0 winner over Midland when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Mt. Pleasant Oilers fell 3-1 to the Midland Chemics on Thursday. While the Oilers didn’t get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Chemics 25-19 in the first period.
Mt. Pleasant started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-16.
