The Augusta Chronicle reached out to some of the main internet providers earlier this week to request outage numbers and information on what they are doing to resolve those outages.

WOW! said over the weekend that service has been restored to more than 34% of customers, but could not give a timeframe as to when they will restore internet to the others in the area. WOW! is also adjusting Augusta customers’ bills for their time without service, back to the time of the outage. For those who would like to pause their service and billing for an extended period due to significant damage to their homes, they can contact the company to activate the pause through the end of the year. Late fees will not be charged and damaged equipment can be replaced at no additional cost…
