75-year-old man killed in hit-and-run crash

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — A 75-year-old man who was walking in the middle of U.S. 36 was struck and killed by a driver who did not stop, according to a spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.

The crash happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 36 near Longhorn Road in Boulder County. According to CSP, the victim, a man from Boulder, was walking in the northbound lanes of the highway when a driver, who was also headed north, struck him.
