ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) — State officials have given Elmira the greenlight to tear down Brand Park Pool.
The city was originally told that Brand Park Pool could be taken down in March of 2024, but plans were soon halted. According to city officials, New York State required an engineering study to determine if the pool could be salvaged before it could be torn down.
