(WIFR) – Automaker Stellantis sues the United Auto Workers union, accusing the UAW of breach of contract if the union goes on strike.
On Oct. 7, Stellantis said it filed eight more lawsuits against the UAW and 23 Local unions, prompting a meeting with the UAW on Saturday.
Stellantis said it denied a request from UAW leaders to restore a Job Bank benefit for employees affected by the idling of the Belvidere plant, claiming it would “jeopardize the company’s future.”…
