Lancaster County woman is known shoplifter at Target stores, police say

MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Manheim Township police are searching for Katlynn Bush, who is accused of stealing cell phones from the Target on Fruitville Pike on Oct. 3.

Surveillance video shows Bush, who’s from Mount Joy, and a man (who has not been identified) disabling theft-proof packaging on the phones before leaving the store, according to investigators.

“Loss prevention was familiar with both as high-frequency shoplifters at other Target locations. They had also been documented and identified in prior incidents at this store. Katlynn Bush was identified as the female. Security camera footage of this incident was provided. They are seen selecting cellular devices that were secured in theft-proof packaging and taking these items to the paper aisle of the store. Within the paper aisle, they disable the theft-proof inventory packaging and then conceal the items on their persons. They hide the remains of the now-destroyed theft protection packaging within the paper aisle,” police said in a statement…
