LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – While there are no official public viewing areas for Tropicana’s implosion, that’s not stopping Las Vegas visitors from trying to secure their spots to see the big show overnight.
From booking a room months in advance to hazmat suits and dust masks, people who 8 News Now spoke with have their ideas to see those towers implode.

Whether it was their day one hotel, like visitor Dale Pilcavage, “My dad and I, our first time out here, that’s where we stayed.”
Or the place to make some cash, like for visitor Jeremy Bullard, “We have played at the Tropicana and won good amounts of money there.”
For the last time, the Tropicana is bringing the crowds from around the world as it goes out with a bang…
