Michigan’s football program doesn’t have a game this week, but that doesn’t mean the coaching staff will be getting a break.

A wave of recruiting momentum built over the summer has since subsided as the Wolverines (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) haven’t received a new commitment since Aug. 20 and have lost a verbal pledge during that span, with four-star defenseman lineman Nate Marshall, a top-100 prospect, flipping to Auburn.

Michigan’s coaches will be hitting the road to recruit this week during the bye looking to bolster their 2025 and future classes despite an uneven start to the season on the field…
