Iowa football is back in Iowa City this weekend. The Hawkeyes will host the Washington Huskies in the first Big Ten meeting between the two programs.
Iowa and Washington will be meeting for the first time since the 1995 Sun Bowl. It is the Huskies’ second trip all-time to Kinnick Stadium. The first matchup in 1937 was Nile Kinnick’s varsity debut.
The annual ANF/Black & Gold Spirit Game is in Kinnick Stadium on Saturday. The Hawkeyes are 3-2 on the season while Washington is 4-2, and is coming off a win over top-15 ranked Michigan at home…
