CHICAGO — A five-time convicted felon has picked up two more convictions after pleading guilty to a string of car burglaries, mainly in the West Loop. Jeffery Morgan’s decision to have distinctive facial tattoos and to occasionally target Teslas that take pictures of everyone who enters the car contributed to his demise.
In June of last year, prosecutors charged Morgan with ten counts of burglary, claiming he had burglarized nearly a dozen cars over several months.
