Moments after the final whistle of the Chicago Bears 35 to 16 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the NFL Network’s Stacey Dales caught up with Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams. She wanted to know his thoughts after a “monster performance” where he became the first rookie quarterback to throw for four touchdowns in an international game.
“It felt great,” Williams said before quickly pivoting to talk about what was on his mind.
“I think obviously, you know, we gotta keep getting better. I can’t turn the ball over like that on the wide-open touchdown to DJ. You know, a few things that are going on throughout the game that I gotta be better at, but I think the progress that we’ve had, it’s gonna keep growing. I think we have great leaders and a great personality… so I think all that’s gonna keep growing.”…
