LAPD looking for suspect in theft of 1958 Chevrolet Corvette

Police sought the public’s assistance Tuesday in locating a man suspected of vehicular grand theft in West Los Angeles.

Officers responded to the 12200 block of West Olympic Boulevard around 8:40 p.m. Sept. 4 regarding a trespassing suspect inside an underground parking structure at a commercial building, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspect allegedly entered and drove off in an unlocked vehicle — a light blue 1958 Chevrolet Corvette with Rhode Island license plate 1KJ358.

He was described as a man between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 6- foot-1-inch tall, last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, dark-colored shorts, gray and white shoes, a black backpack, and carrying a skateboard…
