(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Tonya McQuade has never lived in Missouri, but her ancestors did and she learned about her family’s history in northwest Missouri after a conversation with a random stranger in February 2022.
McQuade received a message from a man that had a box of old Civil War-era letters and family heirlooms that belonged to members of McQuade’s family.
