SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Feeling a large-scale earthquake in a safe setting.
That’s what students, staff and visitors at Sacramento State experienced Wednesday as the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) brought its mobile earthquake simulator to campus.
On its third leg of the three-stop Great California ShakeOut Tour, the earthquake simulator trailer set up at Sacramento State helped willing participants sitting inside get a sense of what it feels like to endure the shaking and rattling of earthquakes, ranging in magnitude from 3.0 to 7.0…
