Near record cold temperatures forecast to start Thursday across Southeast Georgia, Lowcountry

The coldest temperatures in more than six months will greet you out the door on Thursday. Widespread low temperatures in the 40s are forecast across Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry.

Locations around Metter, Statesboro, Vidalia, and Hampton may dip to the upper 30s! In Savannah the record low is 39° for Thursday(October 17). The forecast low of 42° will likely be just shy of the record, but still cold!
