ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A fire on Vernon Avenue on Tuesday night gutted a house where at least eight workers for a construction company had been staying.
The workers told FirstAlert4 they had been living in the home as part of an arrangement with Gold DS Construction. They had been renovating the building along with several others in the surrounding neighborhood.
