LEHI, Utah (ABC4) — An unattended fryer caused a fire at a Lehi home just after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, according to the Lehi Fire Department.
Crews arrived at the home with the garage fully engulfed in flames. Lehi Fire said that the homeowners were home at the time of the incident but were uninjured.

The fire was contained in the garage, preventing further spread of the flames to the structure of the home. The interior of the home, however, suffered damage from the smoke. Lehi Fire said that the damage was minimal.
The cause of the fire was found by authorities to be a fryer that was left unattended in the garage. Lehi Police, along with units from the American Fork Fire Department and Lone Peak Fire Department, also responded to the call…
