GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Two people are behind bars tonight after a SWAT standoff at a Grand Junction hotel.
Crews with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and the Grand Junction Police Department were called out to the Motel 6 on Horizon Drive around 9am Wednesday morning.
Two people with warrants were barricaded in a hotel room and refused to cooperate with officers. It took several hours before law enforcement were able to take both Jake Rodriguez and Vanessa Zubiate into custody…
