(Updated) A 24-year-old New Havener named Nicolas Baltazar-Consepcion died early Thursday morning after being hit by a garbage truck in the area of Church Street and North Frontage Road.
City police spokesperson Officer Christian Bruckhart sent out an email press release about that fatal collision at around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
He wrote that, at around 2:07 a.m. Thursday, city police officers were dispatched to Church Street and North Frontage Road downtown for “a motor vehicle accident with major injuries involving a refuse truck and a bicyclist.”…
