New State Troopers Honored at Graduation Ceremony in Albany

New York State Police have added 181 new troopers to their ranks. Governor Kathy Hochul joined State Police Superintendent Steven James in honoring the new troopers as they graduated Thursday from the 215th session of the Basic School of the New York State Police Academy during a ceremony in Albany. The graduation increases the State Police ranks to 5,183 sworn members. The new troopers will receive 10 weeks of field training in their assigned troops.
