Beth Fife Charged For Allen English, Grace Rohrer Deaths

The woman who caused a double-fatal crash — killing a father and his daughter — has been charged, after she was found to be driving more than 90 mph in a 55 mph zone, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Beth Anne Fife, 51, of Dawkins Drive, East Earl, has been charged with two counts each of the following: vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter, and recklessly endangering another person, as well as related driving offenses on Wednesday, Oct. 16, court records show. The charges are in connection with the crash on Route 322/West 28th Divison Highway near the Lancaster/Lebanon counties line that killed Allen English, 84, of Lititz, and his daughter Grace English-Rohrer, 60, of Lancaster on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, that Daily Voice previously reported on.

Fife cut off several cars while speeding west on Rt 322, witnesses told the police, according to an affidavit of probable cause. She then swerved her 2019 Infiniti to avoid a dead deer on the side of the road — that’s when she crossed into the opposing lane of traffic — slamming head-on into the English-Rohrer’s 2017 Ford at 11:45 a.m…
