1 Injured In Crash At U.S. 30 & Ind. 19

ETNA GREEN – The driver of a white van was flown from the scene of a two-vehicle accident Thursday at the intersection of Ind. 19 and U.S. 30, Etna Green.

According to the investigating Indiana State Police trooper at the scene, the driver of the semi-tractor-trailer was going east on U.S. and slowing down to stop for the stoplight at the intersection that had turned red. The white van behind the semi drove into the back of the semi-tractor-trailer.

The driver of the van was injured and the Samaritan helicopter was called to fly him from the scene. The trooper did not know the extent of the man’s injuries…
