In a thrilling break from the racetrack, Williams Racing drivers Alex Albon and Franco Colapinto, along with team principal James Vowles, visited Komatsu’s Arizona Proving Grounds ahead of the Austin Grand Prix. The team swapped their sleek Formula 1 cars for massive electric drive mining trucks, gaining hands-on experience with Komatsu’s cutting-edge equipment.

As part of Williams Racing’s partnership with Komatsu, the drivers tested Power Agnostic 930E mining trucks and PC7000-11 excavators, showcasing both organizations’ commitment to technological innovation. This unique experience underscored their shared values in pushing engineering boundaries.
