DUI arrest one of many this month by the same Fargo officer

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Shortly after noon on Thursday, October 10, Officer Jeff Ward was on patrol when he noticed a vehicle make a dangerous turn crossing into oncoming traffic lanes. Officer Ward initiated a traffic stop in the 100 block of 16th St. S.

The driver, identified as 46-year-old Fargo resident Jonathan Marr, exhibited multiple signs of impairment. As Officer Ward approached the vehicle, the scent of alcohol was immediately noticeable, and Marr’s speech was slurred. Officer Ward also noticed his eyes were watery and glossy.

Marr agreed to a chemical breath test, which confirmed that his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was more than twice the legal limit of 0.08…
