SOUTH SHORE — South Side neighbors can head to the polls to advocate for investments in their community as the Obama Center and other nearby developments fuel concerns about displacement and gentrification.
On the ballot for some residents of the 7th and 8th wards is a question asking if residents want their alderperson and Mayor Brandon Johnson to support a community benefits agreement that could protect South Shore property owners and renters.
