Bay Area fire impacts at least 10 homes, forces hundreds to evacuate

OAKLAND, Calif. — Evacuations have been ordered for a 4-alarm brush fire that has impacted at least 10 structures in the Oakland Hills.

The fire broke out around 1:30 p.m. Friday burning near the intersection of Mountain Blvd. and Keller Ave. which is a little over a mile away from the Oakland Zoo. It has burned at least 10 acres, according to fire officials.
