Chesterfield man flies supplies to victims of Hurricane Helene

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT)—Three weeks after Hurricane Helene destroyed homes and livelihoods in North Carolina, many residents are still dealing with the impacts.

Now, a Chesterfield man is bringing hope to some of the hardest-hit areas by personally flying in supplies on his small Cessna plane as often as he can.

“There were things that I could see that looked like war zones,” Jason Moyers said. ”I’ve never seen anything like that. These people lost everything.”…
