Ursuline tops Chaney with eruption of points in second quarter

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – On Friday night, visiting Ursuline erupted for 29 second-quarter points en route to downing host Chaney, 37-6.

Joe Balog started the scoring for Ursuline (8-1) with a touchdown at the 6:13 mark of the first quarter. A two-point conversion gave the Irish an 8-0 lead, which is how the quarter ended.

Anthony Tabek got the scoring going just six seconds into the second quarter with a field goal, then Ursuline took control of the game on scores by DC Ferrell, Ryan Tauby and Josh Frangos, among others…
