BOSTON — The MBTA, which has struggled with maintenance for years, is now faced with an unfolding investigation at a major maintenance yard that has already resulted in numerous employees being placed on leave, 5 Investigates has learned.
Sources said these T employees worked at the Cabot Yard and Maintenance Facility in South Boston, where the T stores and maintains Red Line vehicles as well as buses.
The MBTA isn’t saying much, only releasing a statement saying, “Employees at an MBTA facility have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.”…
