Where Buckeye fans should tune in while their team is off this weekend.
No. 4 Ohio State suffered its first defeat of the 2024 season last week, dropping a disappointing 32-31 contest at No. 2 Oregon. While it may have felt like the sky was falling for the Buckeyes after the game, the sun rose again and the college football season continues.
In an ideal world, the Scarlet and Gray would get right back to work this week, preparing for an opponent this Saturday. However, the schedule did not work out that way, as Ohio State is off this weekend for the second time this year. The Buckeyes did practice Tuesday, Thursday and Wednesday, but head coach Ryan Day said his team treated this more like an off week than the early-season break.
Although the Scarlet and Gray don’t play on Saturday, there are plenty of interesting games across the sport and some that will or could impact the Scarlet and Gray. Multiple future Ohio State opponents will be in action and others that could be added to the schedule in the postseason…
