Franklin ground game too much for Little River Academy

LITTLE RIVER-ACADEMY — The Franklin ground game was too much to handle for Little River-Academy in the Lions’ 51-15 win over the Bumblebees in District 11-3A-I action on Friday night.

Franklin (4-2, 2-0) ran for 433 yards on 45 carries. Jayden Jackson led the way with 157 yards on 11 carries. The senior had rushing touchdowns of 24 and 71 yards in the second quarter as the Lions raced out to a 28-0 lead at halftime.

Walker Anderson had a 3-yard touchdown run to give Franklin a 7-0 lead in the first quarter and added a 7-yard touchdown run in the third quarter as the Lions scored 42 unanswered points to start the game…
