DES MOINES, Iowa — Speaker of the House Mike Johnson stopped in Iowa Friday to campaign for Rep. Zach Nunn and Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks during a trip to Iowa Friday. Both Republican candidates are running for re-election in contested congressional races.
“If Zach Nunn wins again, and he will, he’s going to help us save America,” Johnson told Nunn supporters at a rally in West Des Moines Friday. “That’s no small thing, and that’s what’s going to happen.”
