Tigers bounce back against Kirtland Central

Taos High School’s varsity football team defeated the visiting Kirtland Central Broncos 35-15 at Anaya Field Friday (Oct. 18) in a district matchup.

The Tigers jumped to an early lead and were winning by 20 points at halftime. Taos added another 15 points in the third and fourth quarter, when the Broncos began dealing more damage.

Senior Mateo Salazar received three touchdowns for the Tigers this game, helping his team bounce back after a loss on the road against the Grants Pirates…
