GOLDSBORO, N.C (WNCT) — Law enforcement officers with the Goldsboro Police Department arrested a man on multiple robbery charges.
On October 10, officers responded to reports of a larceny at the Family Dollar on East Ash Street. A suspect entered the store and left with several packs of cigarettes without paying. When the suspect was confronted he sprayed an employee with pepper spray, fleeing afterward.
On October 11, officers responded to reports of a robbery and stabbing at the Family Dollar on Wayne Memorial Drive. The suspect entered the store and proceeded to spray an employee with bug spray. The suspect then assaulted a female employee while trying to get into the store’s safe. Another employee attempted to intervene, getting stabbed by the suspect in the process. The suspect fled without any merchandise or money. Both employees sustained non life threatening injuries…
